The Journey Forward: A Small Change

The first 1/4 of this challenge has been a blast. Revisiting old challenges and forgotten strategies breaths more life into this vibrant game.

But the current structure of this challenge (a solo run-through) runs a little contrary to it's purpose: helping my wife and I get full enjoyment out of this game. After all, it was our inability as a couple to keep up with our backlog of quests that triggered the idea for this challenge/blog. Structuring this as a solo challenge is helping get through that backlog, but not in helping us continue enjoying the game together. Since we will continue playing quests on our own, why not incorporate those victories into the current challenge?

So, the word "solo" has been taken out of the blog description and added as a tag to all the quests completed so far. I will continue striving through Khazad-dum and the Dwarrowdelf Cycle solo (probably continuing on with Massing at Osgiliath and Heirs of Numenor). My wife and I will continue working our way through Against the Shadow, then proceed to the saga expansions, finishing up with Voice of Isengard and the Ringmaker Cycle.

The Stewards Fear and The Druadan Forest have already fell to our combined abilities. Short posts will be added to bring those into the challenge (and the stats will be updated). Since I'll be looking through our old (sub-par) notes, they may be a little bear-bones. Sorry about that!

Thanks for joining on the journey so far! Please continue helping me with feedback and ways you'd like to see the posts improved.
